The Sugarcreek Township Fire Departments, Explorer Post 70 is overseen by a Captain who is the Explorer Post's Chief Adviser.  This program is open to boys & girls ages 14-21.

Exploring is a program to familiarize teenage boys and girls with the Emergency Medical, Fire and Rescue services.  This youth organization is a stepping-stone for those who wish to become Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics or Firefighters.

Our program will offer a wide variety of training and programs that will prepare you for this type of public service.  Regardless of your career choice, the experience gained will better prepare you for the future. Our program will teach leadership skills, teamwork, and civic values.  In addition, the explorer post will build team working skills, camaraderie and new friendships.
