Ally Child Care Visit
On March 11, 2022 the Sugarcreek Police Department has some special visitors. The preschooler from Ally Child Care presented us with hand-made cards and treats. We had a great visit with the kids!
Adopting Standards Certificate
On March 7, 2022 during the Sugarcreek Trustee meeting State Representative Brian Lampton recognized Chief Michael A. Brown and the Sugarcreek Police Department with an Adopting Standards Certificate by the Ohio Collaborate Community.
Cause for Celebration!
During his time as the Sugarcreek Township School Resource Officer, Officer Ronald Gudgell created long lasting relationship with many of the students he mentored. One student Officer Gudgell made an impression on is Megan Lee, a 2019 graduate. On December 8, Officer Gudgell attended Ms. Lee’s 21st birthday party. On behalf of the entire Sugarcreek Township Police Department, We want to wish Ms. Lee a Happy Birthday!
Shop with a Cop 2020
The Sugarcreek Township Police Department was again able to host Shop with a Cop this year (pandemic precautions and all). With the generous support of Target, five families were able to shop for Christmas gifts.

Neighborhood Patrols
The Sugarcreek Township Police Department will provide extra neighborhood patrols and vacant house checks upon request. To request this service, complete the House Check Form.
